Monitoring & Alerting
Monitoring IT assets and alerting on issues is our core business. We offer Network Monitoring, Server Monitoring, Application Monitoring, Website Monitoring, Cable System Monitoring and MSP Partner monitoring solutions. We utilize standard polling methods such as ICMP Ping, SNMP, WMI, CLI and HTTP. We generate automated alerts via email, pager (yes, people still have those) and SMS. We also follow up any critical alerts with a phone call from an actual NOC engineer located here in the United States.
What's better than getting a call about a network issue at 3:00 AM? Easy - sleeping though the night knowing iGLASS has your back. A growing number of our monitoring customers are leveraging our staff to intercept and handle common issues encountered in their various networks and applications. If you opt for Tier-1 Remediation, we will work with you to develop a "run book" which documents the appropriate steps to take when a known issue occurs. Some typical examples of things we offer include killing and restarting hung processes or applications, rebooting hosts, executing CLI scripts and opening tickets with vendors or carriers. We do not currently offer tier-2/3 support for things like ad-hoc troubleshooting, configuration management, provisioning, operating system patching or disaster recovery.
Inbound Call Processing
Your toll-free number; your NOC; our personnel. Offered as an optional service for our monitoring customers, iGLASS also offers inbound call handling for trouble calls from your major accounts or partners. We'll answer the phone as "Your NOC," collect the caller's information, provide them with a trouble ticket number and then escalate to your staff. We don't offer call-center services (tech support, customer care, etc.) but we can certainly give your small business a 24x7 resource to make available to your larger clients or partners.
No two customers are alike and your monitoring platform shouldn't treat you as though you are. iGLASS is developed in-house and so we have the greatest amount of flexibility to customize the platform to meet each customer's unique challenges. While most of what we do is pretty standardized, there are many, many things which are not. We're very good at developing custom pollers, CLI scripts, synthetic transactions, custom thresholds and other unique features which make our platform ever more valuable to our customer base.
