Our Story | See a need, Fill a need
In 1997, and after many years building and managing networks for Ericsson, Tim Bolden partnered with brothers Jack and George ("Woody") Woodring and stepped out on faith to forge their own path. Thus was the genesis of iGLASS Networks. Though at first this talented entrepreneurial team focused on general network consulting, they soon realized there was a tremendous void in the marketplace – a network monitoring system that was highly efficient, reliable and cost-effective.
At the time, corporations were gambling that their networks would work as advertised – no one scrutinized an infrastructure's overall architecture and performance until an outage or failure occurred. The iGLASS team realized "post-mortem" (network outage) calls were taking up most of their time, and knew they possessed the unique expertise and skills to offer network monitoring services that would empower customers to be proactive with their network management instead of reactive.
Today, thousands of users rely on iGLASS to observe and report on the health and operation of their networks and critical applications, every moment of every day. When issues do arise, as they inevitably do, iGLASS alerts our customers or designated third parties (carriers, vendors, MSPs, etc.) within minutes to ensure rapid resolution and shorter mean time to repair. iGLASS customers are able to avoid costly downtime, eliminate false alerts, increase revenue and boost customer satisfaction. Go ahead, run your business. Get a good night’s rest too. We’re on duty and we’ve got your back.
