Algona Municipal Utilities, located in Algona, IA, is a municipal provider of water, electric, telephone, cable TV, and internet services to members of their local community. AMU first contacted iGLASS when they were looking for an inexpensive service to monitor their DOCSIS cable modem plant. Since they were a smaller operator, they were having difficulties finding a vendor that offered a comprehensive service at an affordable price, but iGLASS was able to offer them a customized monitoring option specific to AMU’s needs. Years later, iGLASS continues to help AMU monitor and improve the performance of their DOCSIS network, reduce outages, and provide faster customer response times.

iGLASS Worked with AFCU to Overcome Every Challenge
Headquartered in Fairfax, VA, Apple Federal Credit Union has more than 20 branches across Northern Virginia and is a not-for-profit, member-owned financial cooperative. AFCU was struggling with an agent-based system from a legacy vendor that was unreliable, difficult to manage and was missing alerts.
Specialized Skill Set
AFCU first heard about iGLASS through one of their managed services partners. Several years later, having experienced poor service from their existing vendor and additional challenging monitoring requirements the legacy system simply wasn’t able to satisfy, AFCU reached out to iGLASS. Within a few weeks we had proven our ability to catch every alert, minimize false alerts and implement complex monitoring capabilities to satisfy all of their needs.
iGLASS brought a specialized skill-set; monitoring critical applications, overnight job completion, online banking, remote locations, and more. iGLASS served AFCU 24×7 to ensure Apple’s IT infrastructure was healthy and efficient.

Arvin Sango, Inc. is a global leader in developing and manufacturing the latest emission control systems, stamped body shell components and door safety beams for the automotive original equipment market.
With almost a dozen locations across North America and a global customer base, Arvin Sango’s IT staff was tasked with providing 24×7 support with a limited personnel. When they approached iGLASS back in 2015 they had just migrated to a new Cisco network, but understood they weren’t in the monitoring business. They had more important projects for their engineers to focus on and needed a partner to help keep an eye on things.
iGLASS specializes in helping businesses with multiple locations keep tabs on their circuits, their network equipment and key performance metrics. We’re proud to serve as a valued extension of the Arvin Sango team and appreciate their trust and partnership.

California-based Bay Federal Credit Union was started 60 years ago as a teacher’s credit union. With over $935 million in assets, Bay Federal provides full service financial products and solutions to members in Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Benito counties and is the area’s largest local, member-owned, no-for-profit financial cooperative. Whether a community member is looking to buy a home, purchase a car, save some money, or access the latest in banking technology, Bay Federal’s local and friendly employees are there to help.
When Bay Federal brought in a new VP of Technology in 2016, he brought iGLASS with him from his previous employer, Travis Credit Union. He knew the value we offered to financial institutions first-hand. After introducing us to his team at Bay Federal and following a couple of web demos to introduce his team to iGLASS, we got right to work. Today iGLASS monitors everything from the network connecting their branches together, to virtualized infrastructure and online banking. We’ve also implemented several custom pollers and log checks to meet Bay Federal’s specific needs.

With over 1,000 customers, Builder Homesite had a problem. They were growing rapidly and all of their IT staff were focused on revenue growth and growth-enabling IT projects. They simply did not have the time or resources to build, implement, staff and maintain a 24×7 Network Operations Center. When downtime of a customer website meant real revenue lost, they needed a partner who could act as an extension of their team, closely integrate with their custom technologies and ensure their systems remained up and accessible around the clock. That partner was iGLASS.
When we first engaged with BHI, there was a learning curve on both sides. iGLASS assigned one of our Tier-2 NOC Engineers as their onboarding specialist and worked closely to develop and implement the monitoring and polling capabilities they were looking for. BHI also made some changes on their platform to enable those custom capabilities. What started out as a few dozen web URLs has blossomed into hundreds of websites with custom checks monitored 24 hours a day. In the near future, we hope to add Tier-1 Remediation to the mix to further reduce downtime for their systems, while increasing the downtime enjoyed by their staff.

Having a cloud-based IT architecture brings with it some unique challenges from a monitoring perspective, and their client base was demanding 24×7 support. Rather than hiring dedicated staff, Bitglass partnered with the monitoring experts here at iGLASS to act as an extension of their team and keep an eye on their IT assets around the clock.
Prior to implementing iGLASS they were using, and maintaining, multiple monitoring platforms. After seeing what iGLASS could offer them via a couple of customized web demos, a partnership was a natural next step.

Since they are a non-profit organization, they were often having to choose between projects due to their limited resources. iGLASS is able to provide skilled engineers at all hours of the day at a very low cost. By providing the help needed to reduce outage duration, increase uptimes, and catch problems before they impacted patient care, iGLASS has been able to serve the nation’s youngest citizens.

Having chosen Calix SMx as their FTTH platform, Conexon needed a NOC partner that could step in and quickly ramp up monitoring for tens of thousands of Calix ONTs. Someone who not only knew Calix, but could also offer a secure, multi-tenant solution that scaled from a few thousand subscribers, to millions. Having worked with iGLASS in previous organizations, Conexon’s operations team knew where to look for their NOC partner. iGLASS had them up and running in less than a month, with custom development and integration well under way. We’re proud to serve Conexon and America’s Rural Electric Membership Cooperatives.

Corporation Service Company provides businesses with legal, tax, and digital brand services all around the world. Since partnering with iGLASS, nuisance alerts have been minimized and iGLASS offloaded the monitoring burden from their staff. iGLASS provides CSC with the capabilities to apply a class of service to devices and filtering of syslog or SNMP traps, which was a benefit they didn’t have with their previous platform. iGLASS has been a valued CSC partner for over ten years.

La Capitol Federal Credit Union got its start in the basement of the Louisiana state capitol building over 50 years ago. Since then, they’ve taken great pride in cultivating strong relationships with their members and growing strong with communities statewide. Their people are our passion.
Like many smaller regional credit unions, La Cap faces the significant challenge of providing the online banking and other electronic features customers demand, with a limited number of IT resources. Standing up a 24×7 NOC typically isn’t a fiscally viable option for credit unions of any size, so finding the right partner, at the right price point is imperative. For La Cap, and their managed services provider, iGLASS was that NOC partner.
iGLASS provides La Cap with 100% U.S.–based, secure monitoring, alerting and reporting on their critical network infrastructure, firewalls, servers, virtual environments and applications. We’d love to do the same for you!

Langley Federal Credit Union was founded in 1936 to serve employees of the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) Laboratory with assets of just $275. Over the last 80 years, they’ve grown to become one of the nation’s top 100 credit unions with over $2.4 Billion in assets and serving over 245,000 members.
Like many of our customers, when Langley first approached us they were suffering from “tool sprawl” with multiple monitoring platforms implemented by various groups generating a lot of false-positive alerts. On one fateful New Year’s Day their core system went down and the resulting alert was lost in the noice. Thankfully it was a holiday but they knew they needed something better.
iGLASS is not just another monitoring tool, but a fully-staffed platform with 24×7 visibility into the health and operation of your IT infrastructure. When an alert or impairment occurs, our expert NOC staff will not only confirm the alert, but follow up with a phone call. No noise, no missed outages. Your Network. Our Focus.

Just as Revolution has brought accuracy, efficiency and savings to cash management, iGLASS has done the same for them in the areas of Network Monitoring and NOC support. When Revolution’s IT team first approached us, they were facing a fundamental challenge facing many businesses: How to provide a global clientele with 24×7 support when they had 8×5 staff. “Best effort” wasn’t good enough anymore, so they need to improve their level of service in the most cost-effective way possible. iGLASS enables them to do just that.
From their core network to their servers, applications and customer Internet portal, iGLASS provides Revolution Retail Systems with 24×7 NOC support, monitoring and alerting from our 100% U.S.-based Network Operations Center.

A recent addition to the iGLASS family, TekStream’s previous NOC partner had outsourced their staff to India, resulting in a degradation in performance and language/timezone challenges. They needed a partner with a similar culture – customer-focused, always putting the customers’ needs first and figuring out the most efficient and effective methods necessary to deliver results – and also a partner capable of doing a deep dive in monitoring AWS and Oracle cloud environments. Someone who could go beyond simple SNMP monitoring and develop API-level integrations to not only monitor those environments, but also prove proper operation of cloud applications. They found that partner in iGLASS.

Applications fuel their business, so effective monitoring was a key selling point. They also needed to have visibility into their network 24×7, so our Internet portal was also incredibly valuable.
Today iGLASS monitors hundreds of hosts, metrics, applications and web sites for TEMPOE, allowing them to focus on their business while leaving the monitoring to us.

Union County, NC is one of our many municipal clients. When COVID-19 hit, Union County, like many organizations, implemented work-from-home protocols. With fewer staff watching over their critical IT assets, they needed a partner who could ensure critical systems and services, like the Sheriff’s office and 911 center, were connected, online and available 24×7. It was our honor and privilege to serve our NC neighbor as that partner.

Bakersfield, California-based Valley Strong Credit Union was founded in 1938, when a small group of dedicated and concerned teachers met for the purpose of forming a financial cooperative for school employees and their families. Today more than 150,000 individuals representing more than $2 billion in assets choose to bank with Valley Strong Credit Union.
When Valley Strong recognized the need for a 24×7 NOC partner, one of their engineers introduced them to iGLASS. Following an introductory call and a couple of Zoom demos, we got right to work building our a monitoring system to meet Valley Strong’s needs. Versium delivers automated data technology services and predictive analytics solutions, which provide actionable data intelligence faster, more accurately and at a fraction of the cost of hiring expensive data science teams or professional services organizations. Versium’s solutions leverage the company’s SaaS based analytics platform and the company’s extensive LifeData® warehouse, which contains more than 1 trillion proprietary consumer and business data attributes. Combined with an enterprise’s internal data, those attributes are used in machine learning models to improve customer acquisition, retention and cross sell and upsell marketing activities.
When Versium first approached iGLASS, they were really just looking for someone to respond to the emails alerts generated by their in-house monitoring system. They didn’t have precious time to deploy a new system and learn how to operate it. When we explained that iGLASS is actually implemented by our own expert team of NOC engineers, and how we’re able to reduce false-positive alerts through flexible, time-based thresholds, variable classes of service and intelligent alert correlation, they were convinced to partner with us.
With iGLASS, Versium’s high-value IT staff can focus on the many high-priority projects they have and leave the monitoring, alerting and reporting to us.

Viya is the local provider of cable television, Internet, telephone and cellular services in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Viya partnered with iGLASS to provide visibility into their HFC cable plant, monitoring set-tops, modems and eMTAs. With iGLASS, Viya knew they would be able to get in front of service impairments and respond to outages quickly.
Viya had only been a customer for a couple of months when disaster struck. On September 5th, 2017, Hurricane Irma did widespread damage across the islands, and less than two weeks later Hurricane Maria destroyed any remaining infrastructure.
Virgin Islanders are a resilient people and while recovery has been slow, progress is being made every day! iGLASS has been honored and proud to assist them by providing real-time status and visibility into the health and operation of their cable infrastructure. We look forward to seeing every customer back online in the very near future!
